Infrastructure design and IDB negotiated surface water drainage agreements were required for the redevelopment of this 85 acre site at Immingham, Lincolnshire for Paragon Automotive.
The site consisted of 20 acres of existing car reception/storage with a small, out of date, PDI workshop and tired parking with a single access point and an adjacent 65 acres of agricultural fields.
The completed development now provides:
- 15,000 parking spaces for storage to facilitate the importation of some 105,000 Kia cars annually
- New Valet building
- Refurbished and extended PDI workshop and paint shop
- Additional secure access for car transporters with off-site highway improvements with a high level of site security.
Ground stabilisation
Pinnacle provided the Client with a cost-effective value engineered solution for a natural soil treated sub-base and a pavement developed at other Paragon sites such as the Toyota facility at Portbury. Innovative drainage solutions minimised flood risk made considerable savings through negotiating a beneficial levy with the Internal Drainage Board (IDB).
