In international cooperation between our offices in Germany and Great Britain, we provided the construction and structural engineering services for planning phase 4 of a campus with two separate three-story buildings for a data center in Hanau.

The area of ​​more than 18,000 square meters houses a world-class technical room that provides a total IT load of 54 MW and is equipped with a resilient yet maintenance-friendly power supply and dedicated cooling.

The main building is constructed of precast concrete with heavy-duty raised floors, 3.6m high ceilings, secure delivery bays and a steel framed gantry for the machinery. Our engineering teams also provided building information modelling (BIM) and 3D design, including the conception of a fully coordinated underground infrastructure layout.
